Team GB Rio Olympic Squad is named
Following the announcement of the Team GB Rio 2016 Olympic Athletics squad we are proud to announce that 43 of those selected have been supported by the RPMF at some stage in their career.
19 of the Women’s individual squad (58%) and 18 of the Men (51%) have been RPMF funded, plus 71% of the Women’s Relay squad.
In total 54% of the team, good luck to all involved, let’s hope the success of London 2012, where RPMF athlete brought home every athletics medal, can be repeated.
