RPMF’s Ronners complete the 2016 Virgin Money London MarathonApril 26, 2016
Ronners do us proud, supporting the next generation of British athletics talent
On a bitterly cold April Sunday morning, the RPMF Ronners took to the streets of London for the ultimate challenge and raised valuable funds to help us support the next generation of British athletics talent.
The bitter weather took it’s toll on some but we’re very happy to say that all our Ronners successfully completed the distance with times ranging from 3 hours 20 mins onward.
Thank you to all that ran from individuals to our teams Da Do Ron Ron, PWC, Grant Thornton, Nike, Too Fat to Run and Not So Cool Running. Thank you also to the friends and families that stood in the cold all day to cheer them on.
It was great to see so many of you come to the post-race party and also thank you to athletes Sophie Papps, Morgan Lake and Alicia and Ella Barrett for travelling over to meet our Ronners, good luck to you all this summer.
We’d also like to thank our sponsors for supporting the Ronner, Nike UK, Hilly Socks and Beet-it sport bars.
Early indications suggest we should raise an invaluable £40,000 this year.
THANK YOU ALL
