High jumper gives thanks for RPMF support
Robbie Grabarz has been supported by the fund since his days as a junior athlete and has recently been the recipient of a grant from the Great 12 Olympic Fund which allowed him to quit his job and train full time in 2010.
Robbie gained Lottery funding that same year only to lose it a year later, but having the support of the RPMF and Great 12 behind him allowed him to continue to train full time towards London 2012.
His efforts this year were rewarded with a gold medal at the European Championships and culminate in a wonderful bronze medal at London 2012!
“Without your support throughout my whole career, my achievements this year would have never been possible. Thank you Jean,” said Grabarz.
